Maple leafs at Xiangshan Park
- The maple leafs in Xiangshan Park are already reached their best time to show the public. The maple leaves are already started to turn red which made the environment a beautiful place of nature. According to the situation of last year and the climate of this year, the expectations of the period that people can enjoy the beautiful sight of the maple leafs are divided in three phases. Each of the phases has a different charm to be experienced, this is the so-called ＆hong ye san bu qu＊, the three steps song of the maple leaf.
- The first stage is a pleasure to be the first who is able to see. It is on the first days of October. These are the first red dots in Beijing, the possibility to feel the first autumn atmosphere.
- The second stage will appears between mid-October and the first of November. This is the best period to see the red maple leaves.
- The last stage will appears from the beginning of November on. According to the changes of the temperature, the red maple leaves will go away to welcome the winter season.

1. Xiangshan Park 每 Jing Cui Lake
- After entering Xiangshan Park at the east entry you can walk to the south side for five minutes, and then you will see the Jing Cui Lake. This is a great point to enjoy the red maple leafs, because of the view to the mountain and the water it creates a beautiful environment.
- Specialty: It is close to the entry so you it is very easy to reach there. The environment is with mountain and water and the combination with the turned red maple leafes the result is a beautiful sight.
- Space: Able to serve 300 till 400 peoples
- The best period of maple leafs: 25th October 每 9th November
- Tips: The mountain is nearby, it is sometimes difficult to take good pictures because of the light, you have to take some time to look for a nice point for good pictures.

2. Xiangshan Park 每 Xiangshan Temple
- Built during the Tang-dynasty, the Xiangshan Temple is the source of the Xiangshan culture. Maybe the place will not give exciting expectations, but the ancient trees and stones with detailed drafts are telling us stories about the changements by history. This location let you feel the pure history.
- Specialty: It has a strong ancient and cultural feel. It is possible to enjoy the red maple leafs on one side and see the traces of the history on the other side.
- Space: Able to serve 500 till 800 peoples
- The best period of maple leafs: 18th October 每 2nd November
- Tips: Be aware of struggling during walking on the paths to the Xiangshan Temple.

3. Xiangshan Park 每 He Shun Men
- He Shun Men is about 300 meters away from the south of Xiangshan. During the Qing-dynasty the emperor was used to use this place during his trips. Actually the ancient path used by the emperor of th Qing-dynasty is restored before it is able to serve the public. On this path you can see the red maple leafs from a very close distance, so you can feel the red maple forest.
- Specialty: He Shun Men is the closest place to the red maple forest, and provide the best chance to get to know the Xiangshan Park the most.
- Space: Able to serve 3000 till 5000 peoples
- Best period of maple leafs: 25th October 每 9th November
- Tips: Because of the highness of the place, be prepared before climbing.

4. Xiangshan Park 每 Yu Hua Cave
- The Yu Hua Cave is the part of Xiangshan Park with the biggest area, and also the place where you can have a broad view of the sight. After entering Xiangshan Park at the east entry you just have to walk straight ahead, up to the Yu Hua Cave in about 20 minutes. The Yu Hua Cave exists in two floors, it is all designed according to the style of the Qing-dynasty. The environment is elegant with an ancient feel. The view over the walls is the beautiful environment with the red maple leafs. The architecture and the presence of Chinese small houses let you feels like traveling on a painting.
- Specialty: Yu Hua Cave has the biggest straight area to provide a broad view. During enjoying the red maple leaves it is also possible to try and taste the Chinese tea made by spring water from the mountain.
- Space: Able to serve 800 till 1000 peoples.
- Best period of maple leafs: 15th October 每 4th November
- Tips: The path from the east entry to Yu Hua Cave is very cozy, it is nice to enjoy this walk with the whole family.

5. Xiangshan Park 每 Xiang Wu Cave
- Xiang Wu Cave is the highest point. Xiang Wu Cave is settled on the half of the Xiangshan Mountain. A while ago some of the places at Xiang Wu Cave are restored, this results to a ancient feel in the style of an emperors palace. Standing at Xiang Wu Cave to enjoy the view, you can see the appearance of layered red maple leafs. You can see the leafs from from far and close distances.
- Specialty: During the walk to the Xian Wu Cave it is possible to rest half the way and take some tea.
- Space: Able to serve 800 till 1000 peoples.
- Best period of the maple leafs: 15th October till 4th November
- Tips: The walk to the Xiang Wu Cave will takes more than 30 minutes, be prepared to wear sport shoes.
